We are a small, family run, specialty butcher shop in Salinas, Ca. We started this meat company by making the same Swiss Sausage made by a relative who brought the recipe from Switzerland. This uncle made it for family and friends in Monterey County for 75 years and he called it Zio Brand.
Since he shared it with us we’ve created an even stronger and wider following for the sausage style, we’ve also created many new family recipes and also become known for our high quality meats.
We are proud to be restoring our once family heritage to our modern day family livelihood. We have many years of practical experience as well as advanced degrees in the industry. We are also proud to say that our sons are learning the art of butchery and sausage.
